Qiu Yanqing, male, born in November, 1972, CPC member, doctor, registered urban planner. Now he acts as director of Guangdong Urban and Rural Planning and Design Institute, vice president of China Urban Planning Association and chairman of Guangdong Urban Planning Association. He has long been engaging in urban and rural planning, has strong academic research abilities and rich project practical experience and has undertaken or participated several important planning and policy research projects conducted by the provincial Party committee and provincial government.

Qian Zhongqiang, male, born in October, 1960, CPC member, graduate from South China University of Technology with a bachelor’s degree, senior engineer in architectural structure, national first-grade registered structural engineer, national registered urban planner, national registered consulting engineer. He is now acting as Party secretary and deputy director of Guangdong Urban and Rural Planning and Design Institute and once acted as bureau chief, deputy director of Guangdong Urban and Rural Planning and Design Institute, etc. He has long been engaging in urban and rural planning and design of architecture and municipal engineering. He has a solid professional technological foundation and rich project experience. The projects he conducted or participated in have won several excellent prizes at state, provincial or industrial level.

He is chief engineer of Guangdong Urban and Rural Planning and Design Institute, professor-level senior planner. He is a member of Professional Evaluation Commission of Higher Education Urban and Rural Planning of Ministry of Construction; director of Association of International Cities and Regional Planners, academic member of regional planning and urban economy of Urban Planning Society of China, member of Academic Board of Urban Ecological Planning and Construction and member of Guangzhou Urban Planning Council. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Zhongshan University and obtained a master’s degree in London University, Britain.
