Planning Second Institute is the earliest planning programming research division which established by Guangdong urban and rural planning programming research institute. It is a comprehensive planning programming institute which has all-round professional technology, well-knit theory foundation and devotes itself to elaborate design.
Planning Second Institute has a team of more than 25 technical elites. They come from several national famous universities and study different majors, such as urban planning, economic geography, ecological environment, traffic engineering and architecture and so on. Within the team, there is a senior planner on professor level, 6 senior engineers and 7 national registered urban planners. One has doctor's degree while 16 members have master's degree. Together the core technology backbones formed an echelon completed capable team.
The business scope of the planning institute covers all kinds of professional planning, including planning of urban developmental strategy, regional planning, urban system planning, urban master planning, zoning planning and detailed planning and so on. In recent years, the institute also undertakes part of the research project of provincial housing and construction department. Meanwhile, it reclaims a new type of planning for the comprehensive development of high-speed railway and intercity rail according to new market requirements.
Planning Second Institute has rich inside information and is also full of vigour and vitality. In terms of team building, it insists on people oriented.
