In the morning of May 25, Li Zhigang, the dean of School of Urban Design of Wuhan University, and his fellows made an informal discussion at our research institute and signed a strategic cooperation agreement. President Qiu Yanqing, Secretary Qian Zhongjiang of our research institute as well as the directors responsible for Human Resources Department, Chief-engineer Office, Planning II, Planning V and other departments participated in the discussion exchange meeting.

During the meeting, Li Zhigang, the dean of School of Urban Design of Wuhan University, introduced the basic information of our institute from the institute history, organization structure, teaching mode, talents and other aspects. Both parties made a thorough exchange around discipline and specialty construction, talent training base construction, professional scientific research cooperation, graduate employment and self-employment, and etc.

President Qiu pointed out that, our research institute always paid special attention to promoting industry-college-institute cooperation with colleges and universities, and we had established off-campus practice bases with many domestic famous universities, and achieved good results. He hoped to establish a working mechanism for better interaction between demand and supply of outstanding graduates through the cooperation with the School of Urban Design of Wuhan University, and encouraged the core technical backbone of our research institute to better combine production practice with teaching practice; meanwhile, he said the graduating students were expected to participate in our actual project research through internship, so as to lay a foundation for talent introduction.

Both parties reached an agreement in enhancing scientific research cooperation, establishing intern cooperation mechanism, promoting postdoctoral research station construction and many other aspects. Then, both parties held a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony and took the group photos.
